2010 Toyota FT-86 G Sport Concept
January 24th, 2010 File Under : ToyotaThe first day of the Tokyo Auto Salon 2010 saw Toyota Announcing its plans to roll out a new series of modifies cars under the “G Sport” name for the Japanese market this summer. Toyota FT-86 G Sport is surely getting the most attention. It’s just another FT-86 Concept, but this time it’s turbocharged.
Specification on the Toyota FT-86 G Sport are vague, but the show cars isn’t a real car in the driving sense anyway. Here’s what we know: it has a turbocharged version of the 2.0-litre boxer-4 engine six-speed manual gearbox driving the rear wheels. Neither Toyota or Gazoo disclosed any further details on the mechanical improvement or performance figures. The concept model exterior mods are rounded off by a new a set of 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in high performance Potenza RE050 tires size 245/40 R19 up front and 275/35 R19 at the rear.
